Aims & Objectives
Educational research refers to the systematic collection and analysis of relevant data. Research may involve variety of methods, and various aspects of education including student learning, teaching methods, teacher training and classroom dynamics.
A methodical and formal study of concepts, theories, ideas and opportunities to invent, innovate, improvise and implement various combinations in the world of science, business, literature and other areas can be considered as the prime objectives of research and development. A constant search for more knowledge and its applications to find solutions for the betterment of human life is the main driving force behind research and development activity.
The growth of any institute is dependent on the quality of academics and research work, including good research publications. This needs good quality research, which can happen with enquiry, investigation, innovation and hard work.
We, at MIT Saint Dnyaneshwar BEd College have a holistic approach towards R&D under various streams that allows us to deliver the latest qualitative information to our students and faculty. At present, we have all the required experts in our faculty, including R&D experts that enable constant improvement. The R&D Cell motivates, coordinates and facilitates all research activities.
The college has received funding from the Board of College & University Development (BCUD), Savitribai Phule Pune University. The research work undertaken in the college and the various innovative ideas generated are published in in international and national journals and conferences.
We also create awareness among researchers and faculty members about publication ethics, and fake or predatory publishers and journals, to ensure than their work is presented on authentic platforms. Special training sessions and lectures are also arranged to guide them further.

Aim:
R & D cell aims to nurture research culture in the institute by promoting research, innovation and spirituality.
Objectives:
- To enhance the research profile of the college staff members.
- To encourage and promote the research environment in college through various workshops, and seminars for faculty members as well as the students.
- To promote the research in order to help the teachers in upgrading the teaching content.
- To help the teacher in strengthening their own research skills.
- To develop research aptitude in teachers and students.
- To develop an attitude of openness, innovation, and spirituality in the field of education.
