About
Dr. Vikas Tupsundar works as an Asst. Professor at MAEER’s MIT Saint Dnyaneshwar B.Ed. College – Alandi (Devachi) Pune. He has an experience of 15 years in the field of education, including as a researcher and teacher educator. He stood second as a university merit rank holder in B.A.(Geography) examination& received “The Pragji Thackersey Moolji Science Scholarship (in Arts)” from the University of Mumbai. He stood third as a university merit rank holder in M.A. (Geography) examination from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University.
He was awarded Ph.D. (Education – Interdisciplinary) in Disaster Management Education from University of Mumbai. He was honored with Ideal Teacher Award by District Institute of Education & Training (DIET), Panvel. He has worked as a paper setter and examiner by Advanced Training Institute – Sion, Mumbai run by the Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India, and as a visiting lecturer for the Diploma in Art Education in J. J. School of Arts, Mumbai.
This includes undertaking teacher training in ICT Skills & Interactive Lessons through virtual classrooms under the project of BMC -Mumbai, assisting the coordinators in NAAC and QCI, and managing the team at a university level youth festival. He has actively participated in many workshops, conferences, seminars, webinar and teacher training programs; where he has presented conceptual and research papers. His forte is Advanced Pedagogy & Application of ICT, School Management, Educational Research and Geography education.
